At Gary Rogers Custom Homes we are dedicated to the principles of total quality management. It is so important to us that we made "Uncompromising Quality" part of our logo. It is the first thing we want you to know about our company. Total quality management has a very specific meaning to us. It not only embraces the principles of quality construction, but also extends to include the principles of quality customer service. Quality construction starts with a structurally sound house and continues through every step of the construction process. It has little to do with fancy wallpaper, painting techniques, etc. Dressing up a house that sits on a poor foundation or that is built with structurally inadequate techniques is false economy and does not represent quality construction.
Total quality management means that everything we do is governed by the quality standard. True commitment is required to maintain this standard, when at any time one might be tempted to abandon quality in favor of short-term financial gain.
Some of the tangible elements of our commitment include:
We are focused on designing and building the home you want.
We are committed to hiring good quality subcontractors capable of producing the quality we demand.
Our foundations and building pads substantially exceed code and are specifically engineered to combat the problems associated with the expansive soils of the Texas Panhandle.
Our framers take pride in their work and have received formal training in the proper construction techniques required for the new engineered building products.

Gary Rogers Custom Homes is a Design/Build Firm dedicated to building true Custom Homes. Personal service is a hallmark of all our interactions with our customers. Our services include:
Design/Build - We are a full service design/build firm. This means that we have the capability to develop a full set of plans for you, or to build to a set of plans you already have. In the design stage Martha works closely with Gary to lend a woman's touch at this critical stage.
Selections - Martha Rogers works closely with our homeowners in making their selections, i.e. colors, appliances, light fixtures, floor coverings, plumbing fixtures, design concepts etc. She will help you through each step of the process, thus making this normally daunting task a lot more fun.
Quality Control - Gary Rogers is a hands-on builder. His personal attention to the work of each subcontractor assures that quality work is done at each stage of the building process. His attention also means that we produce the desired design and style. He expends a great deal of effort in the selection of quality subcontractors and developing sound working relationships with them.
Consulting - At Gary Rogers Custom Homes we believe that a well-informed homeowner contributes substantially to the success of the building project. We also know that building a new home is one of the most important decisions a person makes. As a service to you, we will be happy to meet with you and explain how the building process works. In short we want to take the mystery out of building a home.
We will clarify for you subjects such as:
How a building project is structured financially
How to secure financing
How to get the most home for your money
How to reduce the Total Cost of home ownership
How to select a contractor
How the building process proceeds
How to select your plans and get them drawn
What your rights and responsibilities are under the law
What will be expected of you during the project
Financing - It is very important that you build a home, which fits, within your budget. We can calculate for you, your monthly principal and interest payments. We can also explain the different options for interim financing, and structuring the building contract. Through our established working relationships with local lenders we can assist you in procuring financing for your home.
Budgetary Control - Our system of ongoing budget analysis, keeps you aware of the effects of your selections and changes on the final cost of the home. Before changes are made you will be notified in writing of the estimated cost of each change. Periodic budget reports will summarize for you the cumulative cost vs. budget of your selected products and alterations of the original specifications. If you choose do so, you can know the exact cost of your home before the building project begins.
Cost Control - We understand the need to build a home for you that you can afford. Understanding the costs of various design features is central to what we do during the design stage. We can work with you to design a project you can afford and which meets your family's needs.

Our drywall is double nailed to prevent nails from pulling loose and "popping" the texture. Additionally, openings for switches, outlets, and fixtures are routed to assure a tight fit and avoid the annoying gaps in the drywall seen around faceplates, light fixtures, and vents.
The painted woodwork in all our homes is primed with oil base primer and finished with 2 coats of oil base enamel. Cheap lacquer base coats and topcoats are not used in our homes. The result is that your woodwork will maintain its wonderful appearance for years to come.
Prior to the application of finished texture, our drywall is sealed so that you get a more even finish.
Low quality "builder's grade" paints, appliances, plumbing fixtures, floor coverings, etc. are avoided so that your home will maintain its attractive appearance for years to come.
Energy efficiency is enhanced in all our homes through the application of: insulated double pane windows, blown cellulose insulation, T posts & corner posts are drilled and filled with insulation, and the perimeter of windows and doors are sealed to prevent air infiltration.
For our country homebuyers, we install the highest quality well and septic systems available to provide you with years of trouble free service.
Your builder will be on the jobsite daily to assure that quality standards are maintained.
We stand behind every home we build, providing the service after sales that homeowners deserve.
The elements listed above are standard in our homes, we do not build them any other way. That is what we mean by "Uncompromising Quality". Our decision to focus our business in this direction is an ethical as well as a business decision.
